What will be the cutoff to get the admission in cse in kiit 2018

KIIT doesnt declare marks of students appearing in its entrance test KIITEE, so telling the exact cutoff marks is difficult. However, talking about ranks cutoff rank for CS has been about 5000-5500 for the past few years. If you insist on knowing marks, I think getting about 300/480 will well place you under 5000.

First of all, for any competitive exam you cannot predict the marks for getting a particular branch because there are lot of factors.
It depends upon the number of students who participate in counselling.It also depends what marks are secured by other students.
So, the things in your hand are
Prepare well and hope for the best.Now, I think there are 3 CS branches so you have more chance. In case you dont get CS, opt for IT you wont go wrong.If you still dont get CS, dont worry because to succeed in CS you need more passion than your degree. All resources are free (NPTEL, Coursera) and you can even participate in campus drive of Amazon, Directi etc
So just focus on your present and dont worry about future.

If you can score around 280 or above then you have a chance of getting rank near 6000, which is the cutoff rank for cse in kiit. This was the scenario around our time. I scored 277. But still didn't get Cs and took IT. If Cs is not available IT is always an option. It is same as Cs.
