what will be the exact probable cut off for govt. college for gen category in neet 2020 in west bengal?
NEET 2024: Cutoff (OBC, SC, ST & General Category)
NEET 2024 Admission Guidance: Personalised | Study Abroad
NEET 2025: Syllabus | Most Scoring concepts | NEET PYQ's (2015-24)
Needless to repeat, this year the NEET question paper was on the easier side and as a result large number of students have scored very well.
West Bengal is not an exception to this obviously.
Few points to take into consideration:
I read somewhere that about 1800 students have scored above 500 from West Bengal. Few of them will definitely go to AIIMS, JIPMER and to other better colleges outside West Bengal via AIQ.About 40-45 students are entering West Bengal state quota counselling using(or misusing) the much controversial proforma B. All of them have scored above 505.There is an increment of more or less 500 medical seats in West Bengal and they will take admission from this year onwards.
Therefore, taking all the afore-mentioned points into consideration, I am guessing the State Cut-off for West Bengal to be 510 at best and 525 at worst.
I hope it will help you
Good luck...
Hi,
Most of the West Bengal government medical colleges cut off remains 550+ for general category students for mbbs.
Some colleges have 520+ too.
But you should try to score as much as possible atleast 550+ marks.
For it you need to follow ncert books and then some extra books and online test series for neet.
You can also prefer mtg book for ncert on finger point.
Prepare well.
All the best.
