It is not possible to accurately predict the cutoff marks i.e. the lowest marks which will get admission under state quota for Tamil Nadu MBBS admission in 2018, because the cutoff marks vary with difficulty level of the exam,  number of candidates appearing in the exam, etc. However, you may get an idea of the same from previous year cutoff marks.

In 2017, lowest marks from various categories which got admission in State Quota (in government colleges) are given below:-

• From OC (Open Category)- The lowest marks to get admission in state quota in Tamil Nadu was 374. The admission was given in ESI-PGIMSR, ESI Hospital, KK Nagar, Chennai.

• From BC- The lowest marks to get admission in state quota in Tamil Nadu from BC category was 296. The admission was given in Rajah Muthiah Medical College, Annamalainagar.

• From SC- The lowest marks to get admission in state quota in Tamil Nadu from SC category was 193. The admission was given in Rajah Muthiah Medical College, Annamalainagar.

• From ST- The lowest marks to get admission in state quota in Tamil Nadu from ST category was 168. The admission was given in Rajah Muthiah Medical College, Annamalainagar.
