What will be the syllabus of entrance exam of fashion designing

Greetings!

Pearl Academy entrance exam comprises of two stages- Written Admission Test- General Proficiency Test (GPT) & Design Aptitude Test (DAT) and Personal Interview. Admissions will be given to eligible candidates across four campuses that are located in Mumbai, Delhi NCR East, Delhi NCR West and Jaipur.

Stage 1- Written Admission Test GPT and DAT

General Proficiency Test, commonly known as GPT, will be conducted for one hour. Candidates will be evaluated on various parameters including Quantitative Ability, Data Interpretation, Basic Mathematics, Logical Reasoning, English language, etc.

The next exam is the Design Aptitude Test (DAT), and test-takers will be given two hours to complete it. Their aptitude for power of observation & imagination, communication skills, sensitivity to the environment, creativity, drawing and design ability, etc. will be assessed from this test.

Stage 2- Personal Interview

The candidates will have to appear for a personal interview (PI) at the respective exam centre/personal interview centre after GPT and DAT. This will also include a portfolio evaluation/material handling skill test. The details will be mentioned on their admit card.
