Dear Aspirant,

As the salary package depends mostly on the college of the candidate it is not possible to slot the salaries age wise. However, if you want a general idea of the average salary of a mechanical engineer in tier1 and tier 2 college is between 4-10 lpa depending upon the college and skills of the student.

For tier 3 and low level government colleges, the salaries will be at max 3-4 lpa. Sometime people often graduate without any job in hand.

For the later age group of 27-30, you can expect a tier 3 students at around 5-6 lpa, if they have not improved their skills, or if they do, then maybe 8-10 lpa.

For 35+, nothing can be said for sure as after 30, the salaries have huge differences and the average will not be able to give a clear picture.

Hope this helps. Thank you.
