Dear Navneet,
As per the cutoffs this year,150-160 marks would have brought you a decent rank. So, if you are specific to the UP state only then there exist only one NIT there i.e MNNIT(MOTILAL NEHRU NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY).Also your choice of stream is a major factor for ur selection in that institute. If your are thinking of CSE or IT then with due respect please forget about that college as the cutoff for those streams are pretty higher for that institute. Also some integrated courses there but those are of high demand so hopefully with that marks you wont get those too.
Now coming down to the EEE(Electrical Engineering) and ECE(Electronics Engineering) also looks a bit difficult for your marks range.
B.Tech/B.Arch Admissions OPEN
Streams you can get are Bio-Technology,mechanical engineering and production engineering.
This does not mean that you cant try for EEE or ECE, you can do so and it may be possible that in spot round you get either EEE or ECE or internal sliding can also land you in these streams.
