The college is popularly known as KGMPAC Mumbai and was founded in 1954; and It was started to serve students with the best ayurvedic care. BAMS or Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery is basically an undergraduate degree program designed in such a way that it makes students familiar with the integrated concept of Modern Medical Science and Traditional Medicines, i.e. it is focussed on Ayurveda.
