What would be the status of JEE (Mains) and other localized entrance exams in 2018? What happens to others like BITSAT, VIT etc?

AIIMS , JIPMER  still hold their exams .

So my stand is that IITs and BITS Pilani will be conducting their separate exams . Rest goverment will let us know .

I believe if a new testing system is introduced from 2018, BITSAT and VITEEE would perhaps abstain from participating in it.They would continue with their own entrance exams, considered most prestigious after JEE (M &A). The state engg. exams would mostly benefit from this pattern alongside some other private players.
