Hey, There are three entrance exams to get admission in various courses at IIT Bhubaneswar, and these are-: •JEE (Joint entrance examination) •JAM(Joint admission exam for M.sc.) •GATE(Graduate Aptitude test in engineering) To get admission to four-year B.E/B.Tech programme, there is only one entrance exam - JEE (Joint entrance examination). So, the admission of the candidates is based on their JEE main entrance exam score. To get admission into two-year M.sc. programme, JAM (Joint Admission Test for M.sc.) is the only entrance test. GATE qualified candidates with bachelor's degree in engineering/technology or master's degree in any branch of Science/Mathematics are eligible for admission to Masters/Doctoral programmes. Hope it helps!
IIT Bhubaneswar takes admission through JEE Advanced.
In order to appear for JEE Advanced you have to qualify JEE Main exam first.
To be eligible you should have 75% marks in your boards exam or you should be in top 20 percentile. For SC/ST you should have 65% marks.
Good Luck!!
