There are various avenues to explore after BSc Biotechnology, opportunities are present in health care centres, various government organizations, public health centres, in research and manufacturing departments of biotech companies,bio processing industries,drugs and pharmaceuticals, environment, waste management, chemicals, energy to name a few, you can also explore the sales and marketing domain here, various universities recruit laboratory technician for which you can apply if you're interested.
You can also pursue higher education, you can qualify top entrance exams like CSIR NET/GATE, you can do BEd to teach at school level, you can also pursue MBA and explore the management aspect of biotech companies,
You can also explore other government exams as well based on the eligibility of graduation with no specific aggregate from a recognized university.such as
UPSC Civil Service Exam/State Level PSCs,

NABARD Grade B-Officer: Eligibility is passed graduation in any discipline with 50% aggregate from a recognized university.
Assistant/Grade B Officer of RBI: In the former post, you need to pass bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university with 50% aggregate, while for the latter post you need 60% aggregate in class 10th,12th and graduation.

Many products like milk, yoghurt, cheese, butter.. etc are available in markets in different brand names. Examples of Companies in India: Amul, Mother dairy, vishaka dairy, omfed etc..
- Food sector: This is another dominant sector of current era. Almost all types of foods are available in the market are packed food. If you will buy even a chips packet, in the wrapper you can read the nutritional value it contains. All these are analysed and packed using various biological tools. Thus, starting from chips, many other products like bread, biscuits, namkins, jams, juices. Etc are available in the markets. Few of the established industries in this sectors are Parle, ITC, Britannia, Nestle, Pepsico..etc.
- Pharma Industries: From development of drugs to the manufacturing of medicines requires technological subject knowledge in Biology. This is another largest sector having lots of companies like abbot, sun pharma, alchem laboratories, cipla etc…
- Agriculture: This is another most advancing biological sector of recent time. Lots of technological roles like research and development of products. Out of many, above are some of the major sectors of Biology where many industries are functioning. But, it is also practical that most of us have not heard any of a plain B. Sc. student working in above sectors. One of the probable reason is that these sector requires Biotechnological knowledge, expertise and skills .
Thus, it can be summarized that a B. Sc. in Biotechnology gives you opportunity to grab a job in these sectors. However, it is to be noted that B. Sc degree is a srating graduate degree. So, one may not get a high profile job in these sectors after merely completing B. Sc. in Biotechnology. One can always prefer higher education like M. Sc. Biotechnology.. etc.

it is highly recommended that you pursue your MSc course,The job opportunities for BSc graduates in a highly research oriented field as biotechnology is not much and most students tend to pursue their MSc in Biotechnology or a specialized discipline of biotechnology. however, you may get a job in some biological products or some healthcare products producing companies.
