Dear Aspirants ,
BTech Biotechnology is a 4 year long undergraduate level bachelor degree program .The course syllabus aims to provide knowledge regarding the integration of biology and technology and the application of the same in real life. It is a field of applied science which requires the usage of organisms, principles of chemical engineering and bioprocessing. Where Industrial biotechnology is the application of biotechnology for industrial purposes, including manufacturing, alternative energy and biomaterials. It includes the practice of using cells or components of cells like enzymes to generate industrially useful products. The industrial biotechnology community generally accepts an informal divide between industrial and pharmaceutical biotechnology. One view holds that this is industrial production; the other viewpoint is that it would not strictly lie within the domain of pure industrial production, given its inclusion within medical biotechnology .
