Whats difference between recognised and permitted seats
Recognised means – completed and satisfied the requirements for starting and continuing with a course of study (regarding infrastructure, teaching staff strength and their qualifications, facilities available to students, library, journals, conference room, amenities etc. so that students would not face any handicap in getting the standard of education prescribed by MCI.
Permitted — means one or two requirements are yet to be met and final approval pending. sec 10[a] of MCI rules permit this arrangement.
