What is AME CET?
The Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Common Entrance Test (AME CET) is a national level entrance test for the licence issuance course of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering. Along with that, the AME CET entrance test scores are also applicable for Aeronautical Engineering and Aerospace Engineering courses in some of the approved institutes by the government bodies in India.
AME CET comprises of one paper consisting of objective type multiple choice questions from five sections, which are Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English and General Awareness. Candidates are allowed to take three attempts of AME CET. The test is conducted once a year and consists of one paper only. AME CET also provides scholarships of up to 100 per cent to the meritorious candidates.
The AME CET can be taken by students who have passed or appeared for 10+2 board exam in science stream, or those who have completed a three-year diploma in engineering.
