Admission to Armed Forces Medical College is done on the basis of NEET score, ToELR (Test of English Language & Comprehension and Logical Reasoning), Psychological Assessment Test (PAT), followed by Personal Interview.
AFMC conducts medical examination prior to admission of candidates. Medical Board will categorize the candidates as Fit and Unfit, in accordance with the prescribed standards.
To pursue the course, candidate should be mentally and physically fit.
Candidates are examined on the basis of speech, skin infections, sight, hearing.
The minimum height and weight requirements are as follows-
Girls Standard – Minimum height of 144 cms and minimum weight of 36 kgs is required.
Boys Standard – Minimum height of 157.5 cms and minimum weight of 47 kgs is required. The minimum height for Gorkhas, Nepalese, Assamese, and Garhwali is 152.5 cms.
