Rank predictors are just to give you a rough idea where your rank may lie. As you know ranking pattern is changed every year on the basis of no. of students who appeared for an exam, difficulty patterns etc.A predictor predict on the basis of previous year trends and hence cannot be exactly correct.I hope you understand. thanks for asking.
