Below I have provided all the required information regarding both the colleges individually -

Dayanand Sagar College of Engineering :

• The college was eshbtablished in the year 1979 and is a private college. It has 29 acres of campus with a faculty of 500.
• The college is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University and is also given "A" grade by NAAC. NIRF also ranked this college at 127th.
• The college has a lot of facilities other than just hostels. Since it is a co-ed college so both separate boys & girls hostels are available. Other than hostels the college has gym,cafetaria,library,wifi facility,bank facility,parking facility etc.
• The college offers a lot of courses like Ph.D , B.E/B.Tech , M.E./M.Tech , M.Sc. , MCA, B.Arch, MBA.
• As per the previous years data the placemnets are good. Average package offered to the students of B.E/B.Tech was about 5.70 Lakhs. For M.E./M.Tech , the package was about 6 lakhs.

PES University :

• The PES University was eshbtablished in the year 2013 and is a private owned university. The campus size is about 25 acres and has faculty of 400.
• The university is a state university and is UGC approved. It is ranked at 149th by NIRF.
• The university has good facilities overall. Since the college is co-ed , so separate hostels are there for boys & girls. Other facilities include cafetaria,hospital,library etc.
• The university offers various courses like B.E./B.Tech , M.E./M.Tech, Ph.D , M.S , B.Des,B.Arch, B.B.A, L.L.B, MBA, MCA.
• On th basis of previous years data, the package received by B.E./B.Tech students was about 4 Lakhs and for M.E./M.Tech it was about 5.50 Lakhs.

Note : PES Institute of Technology , South campus was eshbtablished in 1988 and is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University. But didn't get other informations like college life,placements and all.

So according to me , Dayanand Sagar College of Engineering is better compared to PES University or PES Institute of Technology,South Campus. The former has better facilities inside the campus,better placements and good college life. Both the colleges are good for CSE but my opinion would be that one should go for Dayanad Sagar College of Engineering.
