Hello Dhanush,

There is no major difference in B. Tech and BE but still, some universities offer B. Tech course and some offer BE Course. The one major difference between the both is that the Bachelor of Engineering (BE) course is more based on theoretical knowledge whereas the Bachelor of Technology is based on more practical intensive knowledge.

All The Best.

To clarify the confusion, one must understand that both B.E. and B.Tech have more or less the same value in today’s world. Though these seem similar, they have quite a few differences. The prime difference between B.tech and B.E., in terms of study, is the fact that B.Tech emphasizes more on practical application, while B.E. program concentrates more on the theoretical knowledge that is applied to develop equipment and gadgets in the field of science and technology.
