There is no such difference between the two branches. CS and CSE are usually used interchangeably by different colleges. Computer Science and Engineering has more to do with extra courses related to sciences whereas Computer Science has more of a technical backdrop for students to get a grasp over.

However there is no major difference when it comes to choosing courses at universities.
