There is some basic difference between CSE and ISE. The difference is as follows:-

1. CSE is the study of Hardware and Software whereas IES is the study of Software only.

2. Placement wise both the branch have the same opportunities.

3. CSE has a wider scope rather than ISE.

CSE and ISE are almost about 90% ,somewhere some subjects may be more or less in both the departments.CSE deals with hardware knowledge also whereas ISE has only software knowledge.Coming to placements both CSE and ISE can give interview for the same company.But CSE i given more preference being the older and globally recognized subject than ISE.Those students who want to study CSE but cannot get go for ISE .I hope it helped.
