What's the difference between jee main 1 and 2

Jee mains 1 is entrance exam for B.tech which is 4 year degree course whereas Jee mains paper2 is for B.arch which is a 5 year degree course.

Hello. Thank you for connecting with Careers360. So, JEE Mains 1 is for the BTech degree whereas JEE Mains 2 is for B.arch. B tech is 4 year course whereas B arch is a five year course. The cut offs and rank everything released for these 2 exams are different. Only a few colleges are same which offer both the courses.

Jee mains paper 1 is for admission in to engineering colleges while jee mains paper 2 is conducted for admission in B.Arch course( Architecture).
