whats the difference b/w mech and mech with automation? some ppl say automation is not core branch so less placments
hello jalaj kaushik
though most of the syllabus for automation and mechanical are same but there a few different subjects like mechanical includes refrigeration and thermal sciences while automation consists of embeded systems, robotics and mechatronics. automation deals with restricting the manual interference in system while mechanical makes the system. after graduation companies prefer mechanical a bit more being the convention but automation has fair chances regarding placements and excellent growth chances for further studies.
hope it helps
