What's the eligibility criteria for AFCAT?
Hey Shruti! Indian Air Force invites online application for both male and female aspirants to join in flying and ground duty (technical and non-technical) branches through AFCAT 2019. The eligibility criteria are different for both of the branches. But the basic criteria is that a candidate should be a citizen of India.
- Candidates must be 20 to 24 years as on July 1, 2020 i.e. born between July 2, 1996 to July 1, 2000 (both dates inclusive).
- Upper age limit for candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot License issued by DGCA (India) is relaxable up to 26 years i.e. born between July 2, 1994 to July 1, 2000 (both dates inclusive).

Graduation (min 3 years) in any discipline with min 60% marks and have passed Maths and Physics as subject at 10+2 level B.E/ B.Tech from a recognized University with min 60% marks.
FOR ENGINEERING BRANCH: F our year degree qualification and have cleared Sections A and B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India with 60% marks
