Hello,

Admission is available for both the five-year and three-year regular LLB programmes through the MH CET Law entrance test. Candidates must pass this state-level entrance test in order to be admitted to the state's numerous legal institutions.

Eligibility Criteria :-

Lower Age Limit: As of July 1, 2022, candidates' ages shall not exceed 20 (22 for SC/ST of Maharashtra alone). Age restriction for the three-year LLB programme is 30 years (35 years for SC/ST of Maharashtra alone).

No higher age limit applies to appearing in any exam.

For 5 years LLB course :-

  • Candidates must complete the SSC(+2) or an exam that is similar, such as the 11+1 or the "A" level in Senior School Leaving Certificate Course, from a board that is recognised by the state of Maharashtra or from another country.
  • Minimum Marks: Candidates must have an overall qualifying exam score of 45 percent (40 percent for Maharashtra state's reserved categories and 42 percent for OBC, SCB, and VJNT).
  • Candidates who completed their 12th grade through correspondence or distance learning are also eligible to apply (there must not have been a gap of less than two years between their 10th grade (SSC) and 12th grade (HSC)).
  • Candidates who passed the 10th grade/secondary schooling certificate exam in a single sitting without possessing any prerequisite qualifications (first through ninth standards of education) are ineligible.
  • Candidates who have already appeared can also apply.

For 3 years LLB course :-

  • Qualifications: The applicant must hold a graduation or postgraduate degree in any field from an institution of higher learning in Maharashtra or India.
  • Candidates must have scored at least 45 percent in the qualifying test (40 percent for ST/SC category, 42 percent for VJNT, SBC, and OBC categories).
  • Students who acquired their 10+2 diploma or first degree through correspondence or a distant learning programme are also eligible to apply.
  • Students who completed the qualifying test (10+2, U.G., and P.G.) in a single sitting but do not meet the minimum requirements of 10+2+3 are ineligible. The prerequisite for the three-year LLB programme is a 10+2 diploma.

Thank You
