Hello aspirant

National Institute of Technology are some of premier institutes in the country for doing B Tech.To get an admission there you must clear JEE Mains with a pretty decent score. The minimum score to get a seat depends upon the NIT you wish to join the branch you are looking for and your category. There are reservations based on your category and your home state. So I suggest you to look previous years cut offs based on that and get a rough idea of the score you need. But anything above 230 out of 360 is a pretty decent score and will get admissions for sure.

All the best....

Hello aspirant!

The NIT' s one of the premium engineering colleges in the country and you need to stand among the very best to secure a place there. To get admitted there you need to excel in Joint Entrance Examination(JEE) Main.  Whereas there is not such rule of how much you should score, going by the general trend your score should be above 220/360 in Main to get the branch of your choice in general category. If you consider the minority seats, the cut off goes down further depending upon your caste.

Good luck!
