B.A. History is a 3-year undergraduate program offered by various universities at the college level in India. The course is open for students who have successfully qualified 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board or university.
It is one of the top Arts courses in the milieu of undergraduate courses in India. The tuition fee for this course varies from INR 1,000 to 25,000.
B.A. HISTORY: ELIGIBILITY- The student should have completed senior secondary examination (10+2) from a school affiliated to CBSE, ICSE, State Board or any other recognized board of an equivalent level.
- The student must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying examination. English should be a mandatory subject.
- All SC/ST candidates get a relaxation of 5% marks by most of the colleges.
The Admission Process to this course begins after the declaration of the results for Intermediate or 10+2 examination. Students have to fill application forms for respective universities. Once the application process is over, universities release cut off marks or percentage for admission to B.A. History program. Students with the required percentage can then apply to the respective colleges.
