Hey!

The JNUEE syllabus for MA Economics includes Micro Economics comprising of Demand Curves, Cost Curves, Price and Income Elasticity of DD, Equilibrium of Firm under Perfect Competition and Monopoly, Macro Economics including National Income, Theories if Income Determination, Monetary Policy, Trade and BOP. Other than these, Descriptive statistics consisting of Mean, Median and Mode, Standard Deviation and Correlation and coefficient, Elementary Probability Theory, Mathematics for Economists which will comprise of Elemenatary Algebra, Coordinate Geometry and Elementary Calculus. Under Problems of Economic History, Underdevelopment and Growth comproses of India's Economic Development prior to Independence: India's Planning and Development experience since Independence; Basic Indicators of Development, and the other topic is International Economics Issues of Contemporary Relevance.

The Exam pattern is such that only multiple choice questions will be asked. 100 questions will be asked. Negative marking is there. The pattern for the question paper will be objective as well as subjective. Part A will include objective questions, whereas, Part B will have both short and long questions.
