What's the pattern of internal and end semester exams that are held in M.Sc Astronomy? I mean the number of questions, mcq or theoretical, openbook or take home or anything else?

The eligibility criterion for M.Sc. Astronomy is to clear graduation from a recognized institute. The admission process of the course is an entrance exam taken by colleges which is followed by a personal interview. The average fee for the Master of Science in astronomy candidates is INR 5000 to INR 2,00,000.
To get admission in the undergraduate astronomy courses, various Universities/colleges conduct their own entrance test. one of the such entrance test is called IISC (Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore) that provides admission to undergraduate courses offered by IISc.
The core subjects of study in astronomy include ;
