The use of the TNEA random number comes when two students have the same ranks and the issue doesn’t get resolved even after using parameters like marks in subjects, date of birth etc. In such rare cases, the TNEA 2019 random number is used for seat allotment.
This number is used as the last criteria to break the ties .
