Shanmugha Arts Science Technology & Research Academy was established in 1984 and was granted deemed university status in the year 2001. It has received GRADE A+ accreditation from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The college is co-ed in nature, all candidates irrespective of the gender. SASTRA University ranked 38th under the engineering category and 42nd in the overall category in the NIRF 2021 ranking. The SASTRA University offers a vast array of undergraduate and postgraduate programs, all of which are supported by research and theoretical structure.

According to the official website, you can expect the dates in the month of May 2022. As last year 2021 admission started in the Sastra University on the date May 14, 2021.
