If you are asking about admission to the MBBS course in Armed Forces of Medical College, you will have to appear for the NEET UG exam for admission to the course.
NEET UG is the entrance exam for admission to medical, dental courses in the country (apart from AIIMS and JIPMER).
I hope you must have applied for the NEET UG exam.
Now, to participate in the MBBS admission process of AFMC, NEET 2019 qualified candidates will have to register with the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS). College conducts its own counselling for admission to the MBBS course. AFMC will be releasing the MBBS merit list for the NEET UG qualified candidates. Candidates selected in the merit list will be eligible to participate in the counselling process. Counselling will include English language Test, Logical Reasoning test and Psychological Assessment followed by the personal interview.
Improtant dates-
Application forms for admission are expecetd to be released in the Second week of June 2019. Forms will be released in the online mode.
Merit list is expecetd to be published in the Fourth week of June 2019
Counselling is expecetd to be conducted in the First week of July 2019
Eligibility Criteria
to appear for admission to AFMC MBBS is as follows-
- Unmarried candidates are only eligible to apply and marriage during the course is also not allowed.
- Candidates should be Indian Citizen to apply for AFMC MBBS 2019 admission. Candidates who have obtained the eligibility certificate from Ministry of Home Affairs are also eligible to apply.
- Candiadets are required to meet the medical standards to be eligible for admission. Candidate should be mentally and physically fit to pursue the MBBS course.
Candiadtes are examined on the basis of their speech, sight, hearing ability, and skin infections (if any). Candidates should not have any kind of disorder and must not have any kind of disability. The medical Board of AFMC declares the candidates as fit or unfit.
- The minimum height and weight conditions required are-
Girls Standard – Minimum height of 144 cms and minimum weight of 36 kgs.
Boys Standard – Minimum height of 157.5 cms and minimum weight of 47 kgs. The minimum height for Gorkhas, Nepalese, Assamese, and Garhwali is 152.5 cms.
The candidates who are overweight as per their height will not be considered fit for AFMC MBBS admission 2019.
Cutoff
The NEET Cutoff for AFMC MBBS will be declared after the release of merit list. Cutoff varies every year depending on various factors such as the difficulty level of the exam, number of candidates appearing in the exam, etc. There are total 150 seats for admission to MBBS course in AFMC.
117 seats for males, 28 seats for females, 5 seats for candidates sponsored by Ministry of Home Affairs.

NEET AFMC Cutoff 2018 for Boys was 551/720 and 551/720 for Girls.
