Hello Aspirant,
As we know that as of now in Maharashtra cases are gradually decreasing and the circumstances are becoming favorable and the Maharashtra government has decided to keep the schools and colleges closed till December 31st as a preventional measure and if we discuss about the latest UGC Guidelines then it clearly states that from November 1st new session should be started for first year students either in online made or offline mode whichever will be most convenient as per the situation. There is no any news regarding reopening of schools and colleges in Maharashtra. As of now online classes system has been adopted by almost all institutions.
I hope this information cleared your doubts.
Good Luck!!
Hello,
Even as colleges affiliated to the University of Mumbai are currently busy conducting their first semester exams online, different student groups have demanded that the state government take immediate steps to reopen colleges and the universities in a phased manner. There is no news from the government when they will reopen colleges. Student groups have stated the need for practical classes for several subjects which have been impossible for colleges to conduct online, leaving students at a loss during exams. Even though the students are requesting for colleges to reopen there is no information form the Maharashtra government yet. It doesn't look like the colleges will reopen soon There is a high risk of spreading of corona virus if colleges will be open. The best example is the recent out break is IIT Madras
