When calculating your annual income, you may be asked to provide both your gross income and your net income. so when applying for scholarship are they asking for gross or net income please explain

While applying for scholarships they actually want information regarding the income that you have i.e. Gross Income.

Gross income for an individual—also known as gross pay when it's on a paycheck—is the individual's total pay from his or her employer before taxes or other deductions. This includes income from all sources and is not limited to income received in cash.

Hence it should be entered.
