The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) is going to release First Round Seat Allotment Result, Opening & Closing Rank today on 27th October 2021 according to some speculations.

Yes you can change you options after the mock seat allotment. The reason for the mock seat allotment is to give the student an idea about the seat he might get as per his or her current college list. If you are not satisfied with the mock seat allotment, you should change the order in which you have submitted your preferences. However, the mock seat allotment does not garentee that this will be the course you are sure to get, because many people tend to change their preferences after this.
It happens because the choice of field and institute, you have filled is not available for your rank. It is due to the reason that your rank is low as compared to your choices. Since, you have not been allotted any seat in round 1 of JOSAA, you have to patiently wait for round 2 results.
