KPGCET is a state-level common entrance test conducted by the Kerala government to select candidates for admission in various professional courses. The KPGCET was first conducted in 2010 and has been held every year since then. Each year, around 10 lakh students appear for the exam, which is divided into two sections – one paper (Kerala PSC CET) and another paper (Kerala GATE).

KPGCET is a common entrance test for admission to various engineering and medical colleges in Kerala.  It is an objective type exam which helps students get admissions into various courses like Diploma Engineering (B Tech), Bachelor of Technology, Bachelor of Pharmacy, Master’s Degree in Engineering and Doctorate Programmes offered by premier institutions like IITs, IIMs etc.

What are the eligibility criteria?

Candidates should have completed their class 10 and class 12 with at least 50% marks from any recognized board or institution including CBSE.
