Being the University student from Acharya Narendra Dev I am well aware of the procedure for admission in Delhi University.

Delhi University has two selection basis one is merit basis and the other is entrance based selection is depends on the course you prefer or choose.



This year Delhi University will release its application form on 1st of May.



Firstly you need to fill the application form via online mode only

To fill the application form you you first must register yourself on Delhi University web portal

then you will receive a confirmation on the registered phone number or email id

After this you can fill the application form to apply for the colleges you prefer

For merit based courses is minimum of 250 rupees fees and for entrance based courses there is a minimum of 500 rupees fees that needs to be we paid



I would still suggest you to go to the counseling session conducted by Delhi University itself in its main campus where the briefly explain the eligibility criteria , application form procedure , admission procedure briefly.

University of Delhi (DU) is all set to start the admission process for UG, PG, and Ph.D./M.Phil. Programs soon for academic session 2019-20. Delhi University will begin the DU UG/PG admission 2019 process for the academic session 2019-20 by releasing DU application form for registration most probably from 1ST MAY 2019. As compared to previous years, admissions in DU will begin one month earlier this year.

University of Delhi is one of the prestigious universities of India. Each year a huge number of applications are filled for DU admissions to various undergraduate, Postgraduate and Ph.D./M.Phil. programs into DU and its 77 affiliated colleges but only those candidates make their way to the admissions who fulfill the DU admission eligibility criteria and meet the admission requirements.

Mode of Intake/ Admission

Admissions to Undergraduate programs in DU can be made through the two modes. Candidates have to fill the mode of intake at the time of filling online application. The two modes of intake in DU are-

• Direct mode

The first mode of admission is the direct mode; it means the admissions in the university are made on the basis of merit of the applicants in the qualifying examinations. Only DU students can apply through direct mode for admission to the university.

• DU Entrance Exam

The other mode of admission to the university is through the entrance exam. Candidates outside the university are required to appear in the entrance tests conducted by the university for various courses. Entrance test is conducted on separate dates for admission to various program.

Candidates will be able to fill and submit the application form through online mode only.

· Delhi University application form 2019 will be released in the month of May or June 2019.

· Firstly, candidates have to register themselves to fill the application.

· After submitting the registration details, a confirmation will be sent to the registered mail/mobile number.

· Application portal will re-open from 20th May for updating marks & courses.

· Candidates have to login again to fill the DU application form 2019.

· Candidates have to upload the scanned images of photograph, signature, ID proof & other required certificates.

· The images should be uploaded in the JPG/JPEG/PNG format.

· Candidates must take printout of the filled in application form for further use.

Application Fee:

· Candidates can pay the application fee through online mode using debit/credit card & net banking.

· Separate application fee will be charged by the candidates for each entrance test/course they are applying.

· For merit based courses, students can apply for many courses as they want. No extra fee will be charged for merit based courses.

· The application fee will be non refundable.
