When hamdard University releases application form for admission in B.pharma??
Hi,
The admissions for the year 2021 are yet to be started and would probably commence in too soon.
- The B. Pharm course involves not just developing drugs but also, quality check, regulating labs, etc. The course involves the understanding of concepts such as Introduction to Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacognosy, and Pharmaceutics. The medium of instruction and examination is English.
- The minimum criteria to apply for B.Pharm course at Jamia Hamdard is that the candidate must have passed Senior Secondary (10+2) examination from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology subjects with at least 50% marks in aggregate and must have passed in each of these subjects.
- For the selection process, the candidates who have appeared in NEET/JEE Main would be preferred first over the non-NEET/non-JEE applicants. The non-NEET/non-JEE candidates may be considered only if a suitable number of NEET/JEE candidates is not available on the basis of aggregate percentage in five subjects.
The candidates applying for admission to the B.Pharm course at Jamia Hamdard University must have the following educational qualification obtained from any of the recognized boards or universities:
Regular Entry - For Admission to First Year (I Semester)
- The candidate must have passed Senior Secondary (10+2) examination from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects with at least 50% marks in aggregate and must have passed in each of these subjects.
Lateral Entry - For Direct Admission to Second Year (III Semester)
- The candidate must have passed the Diploma in Pharmacy examination of Jamia Hamdard or from any other recognized institution with 50% marks in the aggregate.
- Also, the candidate must have passed the 10+2 examination or equivalent with PCB.
Age Criteria

Hope this helps.
