Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) is the official body which will conduct the online entrance exam for the undergraduate engineering programmes in an online mode.

The COMEDK entrance exam will be conducted tentatively in the second week of May 2018. The question paper of COMEDK will include 180 questions which the candidates will have to answer. These questions will be from Physics, Chemistry and Maths.

You will have to answer the multiple choice questions. One of the advantage that you have while you appear for the COMEDK entrance exam is that there is no negative marking for incorrect answers. There will be a combined paper of Chemistry and Physics. It will be of two hours and another one will be of Maths which will be of one hour.

The COMEDK exam is a state level exam and there are close to 20,000 seats. The application form of COMEDK will tentatively be available from second week of February 2018 and the last date for filling the same is likely to be Third week of April 2018. Candidates will be able to download the hall ticket of COMEDK in the first week of May 2018 and the exam will take place In second week of May 2018.

Since the questions that will be asked in the COMEDK entrance exam will be based on 10+2, 12th standard, you can simultaneously prepare fro it.
