Hello Aspirant,
Since you have not mentioned the name of counselling so it is quite difficult to guide you with an accurate information but for JEE-Main two common counselling bodies are JOSAA and CSAB and also there are some state counselling authorities. So JOSAA counselling will only be started after the result declaration of JEE-Advance 2021 and CSAB counselling is conducted only for those seats that remain vacant after JOSAA counselling so CSAB counselling will be conducted after JOSA counselling and in some states like Rajasthan, UP and likewise the counselling process has already started on the basis of JEE-Main score because they do not require JEE-Advance score, therefore they don't wait for it.
If you want to appear for JOSAA counselling then once the counselling process get started on the official website as given below :-
https://josaa.nic.in/WebInfo/Page/Page?PageId=1&LangId=P
you can follow the complete process for registration for JOSAA Counselling as mentioned below :-
- Registration for the counselling on josaa.nic.in

- Mock Seat Allotment
- Seat Allotment Result
- Payment of Seat Acceptance Fees and Download of Provisional Seat Allotment Letter
- Reporting to the Reporting Centres
