MHT CET (Maharashtra Common Entrance Test) is an annual entrance exam conducted by the government of Maharashtra for the students of the state for getting admission in B.tech programme in the state. So for going into the engineering field, the students of Maharashtra have to clear this entrance exam to get admission in colleges they want.
Exam may be probably conducted in April 2020.

It is a State Common Entrance Test Cell, Government of Maharashtra will conduct the MH CET 2020 exam. It is a state level entrance test organized by the computer based mode. It is a gateway for admission in Engineering, Agriculture & Pharmacy programmes offered by various colleges in Maharashtra state.
The syallubus will be prepared from Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary education. 20% syllabus will be carried form class 11th and 80% from class 12th while setting the question paper.
The difficulty level of the exam will be as per JEE Main and NEET. The question will be taken from the physics, chemistry, biology and mathematics.

MHT CET (MH CET) or Maharashtra Common Entrance Test is conducted by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Mumbai for admissions to first-year Engineering and Technology programmes (BE/BTech) and Pharmacy programmes (BPharma/PharmaD) in the state.
Around 4.13 Lakh students appear every year for this entrance exam.
This year the exam is going to be conducted between 15th-23rd April 2020.
Eligibility Criteria:
Candidate must be a citizen of India.
Must have passed Higher Secondary with Maths and Physics as compulsory subjects along with any one of the subjects among Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Technical and Vocational subjects.
The minimum marks scored by the candidates together in Higher Secondary and MHT CET 2020 must be at least 50% in case of general candidates and 45% in case of backward class, PDW and candidates of Maharashtra only.
Candidates who hold a diploma degree in Engineering and Technology with atleast 50% marks (general) and 45% in case of BC, PWD candidates, and candidates belonging to Maharashtra state only.
