EWS is a new category that has been created by the MHRD for economically weaker sections. 10% seats will be reserved for those candidates whose annual family income is less than INR 8 lakh per annum. It is an initiative by the Government of India to promote the middle class general category aspirants.

As for your question, all the government colleges will have an EWS quota, so you need not worry about it.
