SSC CGL is conducted in four tiers – Tier I, II, III and IV.  Till now, the authority has not yet released any notification regarding new exam dates of SSC CGL 2018. However, it is expected that SSC CGL 2018 Tier 1 exam will be conducted in November/December 2018. Earlier, as per SSC CGL 2018 exam dates, Tier 1 was scheduled to be conducted from July 25 to August 20 but the exam has been postponed by the Commission.

The Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGL) is conducted by Staff Selection Commission (SSC) to recruit candidates for Group B and C posts in various ministries/ departments/ organizations such as Indian Audit and Accounts Department under CAG, Intelligence Bureau, Ministry of Railway, Ministry of External Affairs, Central Bureau of Investigation, Central Bureau of Narcotics, National Investigation Agency (NIA), etc.
