Steps for applying to MUOET: The manipal entrance exam is held in the month of april. the steps for applying are

1.Go to the online application page

2.Fill up your details

3.A photograph and a copy of your signature has to be uploaded

4.in application fee of Rs.2000 may be paid through Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking/Paytm

MAHE conducts its own annual online entrance test to offer admissions to interested candidates in their programmes. MU OET is one of the most sought after entrance exam in the country and hence it very competitive as it attracts thousands of students from all over the country.

The question paper contains 200 questions from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English & General Aptitude. Candidates will be allotted 02 hour 30 minutes to complete the exam. The distribution of multiple choice questions is as follows:

Physics (50), Chemistry (50), Mathematics (70), English & General Aptitude (30).

The final result of MU OET will be released by MAHE as a merit list but it will contain the overall and sectional score as well. So your rank will depend on your performance in each section.

After the results of MU OET are declared, the counseling of the students will start at all three campuses i.e. MAHE, Karnataka, Manipal University Jaipur and Sikkim Institute of Technology. You should select the counseling venue from the available list of centers before you download the e-hall ticket. Before you report to the counseling center please make sure you fulfill all the eligibility criteria. Only those candidates are required to attend the counseling whose ranks are included in the counseling schedule. Their physical presence is mandatory for the admissions.

Candidates will be called inside the counseling hall according to their ranks and they will be offered seats available at that point of time. They are free to choose any seats available during their turn. Once the seat is allotted to the candidates, they will not be able to change it later under any circumstance.

During counseling, all candidates are required to produce the required original documents and two sets of photocopies of the same. In the event of admission, the institute will retain these documents till the candidate completes the course.

MET examination is usually held in the month of April every year, this year it was conducted from August 1-12 due to the covid-19 situation. It's a 2 hours 30 mins duration examination of 800 marks with 50 questions from physics and chemistry each and 70 from maths and 30 from English and general aptitude.
