SAB 2019 Special Round - Recent Changes : The Central Seat Allocation Board has undergone many notable changes in its counselling process since the year of its inception. Last year, CSAB revised its process by holding two rounds of counselling from 2018 instead of one. Also, Students from now onwards are required to upload their documents online in order to participate in CSAB 2019 special rounds. Students can find below all the latest changes in CSAB
Candidates have to upload the scanned copy of documents and a cancelled cheque
Students now have option of online reporting at allotted institute after confirmation of seat. College will confirm the seat after verifying the documents online.
CSAB will be holding 2 special rounds of counselling of admission
Student can now exit from counselling at any stage after levying a nominal counselling fees.
CSAB 2019 Special Round Eligibility Criteria: Students who want to participate in CSAB 2019 Special Round for admissions to NITs, IIITs and GFTIs must check their eligibility. Student can find below the detailed eligibility criteria
Students must have a valid JEE Main 2019 rank
Candidates who have not participated/registered in JoSAA 2019 are also eligible to apply
Candidates who participated in JoSAA 2019 but did not got any seat are eligible to apply CSAB 2019
Candidates who have been allotted a seat in JoSAA 2019 but did not report to the college or withdrawn from counselling are eligible to apply in CSAB 2019
Students who were eligible for JoSAA 2019 are also eligible for CSAB 2019 Special round
Candidates who have opted for Not to Participate in Special Round after JoSAA are not eligible to participate in CSAB Special Round 2019
CSAB 2019 Special Round Counselling Process : Student who are participating in CSAB 2019 special round counselling must read all the below mentioned instructions carefully before beginning for the process. The below mentioned step by step instructions will guide students in completing the counselling procedure
Step 1- Online Registration : Candidates are required to register themselves for CSAB 2019 Special Round in CSAB portal in order to participate in counselling. Student have to register using their JEE Main 2019 application number and Password. Candidates must enter all the details carefully as their will be no procedure for rectification in application. Candidate will be required to upload the scanned copies of below mentioned documents in pdf format at the time of registration
Certificate of class 10th
Marksheet of class 12th
Category, PWD certificate in case applicable
State of eligibility certificate. For NRI candidate, student need to upload the copy of passport
Cancelled blank cheque for fee refund process
Students who did not reported to allotted institute after JoSAA also have the option of updating their basic information like category, gender or nationality.
Step 2- Payment of Special Round Participation Fees- Candidates who have successfully registered for CSAB 2019 special round counselling have to pay the participation fees. Payment of participation fee is to be done only through SBI MOPS payment gateway. Candidates who have registered earlier and paid registration fees for JoSAA 2019 have to pay the fee for CSAB special round fees again. Candidates who withdraw from counselling without accepting the seat will get complete refund of fees after deduction of Rs.1500. The detailed fee structure is mentioned below
