Since, most of the schools are still continuing to provide lectures through online classes. According to some media reports, the Indian Government is planning to reopen  schools in a phased manner from September 1 and November 14, 2020. However, some states are against the decision due to the safety of the students. Many other states like Delhi, Haryana and Karnataka are in support of the decision.

Till date there is no official announcement related to opening of school. Also, there are some states who are planning to open schools and colleges and making necessary decisions. Although, government has given permission to go to school for 9 to 12th students for there doubts clearance with consent from parents and should not belong to containment zone.

Till date, there is closure upto 30 September.

As per the guidelines of the Unlock 3, the government is looking at the reopening of the schools post 21 September for 9-12 and from October for the rest of the classes. This date however, is tentative and might change with the COVID situation at that time. Moreover, in the containment zones these dates might not apply.
