Hi.

Ones selection to appear in jee advance depends upon jee mains exams score .you have to crack that nutshell to gey qualified for advance
When you clear your JEE MAINS exam after that your best scores will be taken and if you will be able to score descent marks to cross the cut off score, then you will be eligible to appear for jee advance.

It all depends on your score and percentile criteria that how much your rank will be.
