When shud we consider the sign of charge and when we shudnt (in probs).... electrostatics Les??????

Hey dear,
Yes it is a problem , but you can see in formulas that if you have to consider the charge then there is no mod but in some formulas their is mod that justify that you should not take the sign.
You should take the sign so that you realise the direction and get the accurate answer .

In F=ma where F is electrical force between electron and proton ( in one of the probs ) shud we consider the sign of electron and proton or not?
