The IGNOU begins the admission for the MA mass media in January 2022.

This course is of two years and there are two academic cycles each year, one in January and one in July. IGNOU is currently inviting student applications for its 2022 January Session.

The last date for the submission of the application form is now extended, and the students can apply until 10 February 2022.

Admissions to MA in mass media is done through various entrance examinations. Below provided are some of the Exams conducted at National level and State level and their important dates.

• The CUCET 2022 MA Mass Communication application form will be available at cucet.nta.nic.in in July, according to the National Testing Agency (NTA). The CUCET MA Mass Communication 2022 application form will be available solely on the NTA CUCET website, and the deadline for submitting it will be in August.
• Jamia Milia Islamia conducts an admission test to grant admission to students for MA in Mass Communication.  The fees for the course js 1.42 lakhs. Application form will be opened from around 4th week of May and entrance test will be conducted around 4th week of June.
• Xavier University in Bhubaneshwar also grants admission in MA mass communication. Admission form can be filled till 3rd May.
• SRM University in Chennai also provides admission in MA Journalism and Mass Communication. Admission is provided through minimum marks in a qualifying examination.
• Christ University provides admission in MA and Communication Studies and the total fees is 2.53 lakhs.
