When to apply for management entrance exam for IIT's

Hey Piyush, hope you are doing well. For management programs at IITS you need to first appear for CAT examination which is conducted in the month of November. After the results are out, according to your percentile you can apply for management programs at IITS. Hope it helps!! Good luck!!

Hello student,

Admission for MBA courses in IITs are done on the basis of CAT percentile. You need to sit for CAT examination. On the basis of CAT scores, the profiles of the candidates are shortlisted for further rounds of Group Discussion (GD) or Personal Interview (PI) or Writing Ability Test (WAT).

The application form for the exam are generally released in the month of August and go on till September end.

For admissions in IIT's or major management colleges, the candidates have to give a Common Admission Test (CAT) examination held every year, conducted by the IIM's.
