Correct Answer: 1853

Solution : The correct answer is 1853

The train that travelled for the first time between Bori Bunder and Thane in 1853 was known as the Great Indian Peninsula Railway (GIPR). Sahib, Sultan and Sindh were the locomotives that propelled its thirteen carriages. This station was rebuilt as Victoria Terminus later in 1888. The GIPR railway line opened for business in April 1853.
