Hello,

Yes, you need to visit the reporting centre for this case. Candidates who were allotted and reported a seat in Round 1 and wish to change Float option to Freeze or Slide, or Slide to Freeze may visit same reporting center where they had reported earlier with a new undertaking (available with Reporting center). They must carry copies of Confirmation of document verification, Round 2 allotment letter and JEE(Main) Admit Card.

Therfore, you only need to report at the reporting centre if you want to freeze your choice. But if you have opted for float or slide ur seat will automatically keep upgrading in upcoming rounds, the seat you get in last counselling will automatically be freezed and you need not to go again at the reporting centre. But suppose u have got ur 2 choice in 3 round and don't want it to be upgraded to 1 choice in 4 round, you have then to report at reporting centre, with the form "switchover between slide/float to freeze", to change your choice of float/slide to freeze and leave the upcoming rounds of counselling.Otherwise your last alloted stream will automatically be freezed and you need not to go to reporting centre again.

I hope this would help you. For further queries please feel free to write me down in the comment box.

hello, I just have one query,
I was allotted my second priority in the JOSAA counselling rounds, and I chose the float option. If I am not alloted my first priority in the next round, do I still get to keep my original seat?
